mlpost software package provides OCaml interface to Metapost (command-line tool), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mlpost
mlpost is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mlpost package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mlpost *
You will get with mlpost package name, version, architecture and description in a table
